DVLPR®

I started DVLPR® back in 2014. At the time there was maybe one or two places that sold funny dev related apparel, and the quality was not great. I had started an apparel company in the past and thought it would be fun to mix my passion for coding with my entrepreneurial spirit and see what happens.

It’s been just about 6 years now and it’s certainly had it’s ups and downs. From people stealing my designs, to people trying to steal my trademarked name and use it for their own apparel. 🤦‍♂️ I’ve learned a ton and meet a lot of great people along the way.

In 2020 I switched gears from being a souvenir shop to being more of a brand. I have stopped doing the print on demand stuff, and now carry my own inventory and ship things myself. The quality is much better, along with the margins. I also get to feel more apart of the whole process and I think it really comes through.

It’s always been a fun experiment for me, and I am excited to see what the next few years bring.

If you are a developer or know someone who is, I’d love for you to check it out.
